The VASSA is working to provide you with opportunities for networking, access to education, and is your source of news and information. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for storage owners, operators and managers to network and discuss what is happening across the state. The meeting agenda includes topics presented by self storage experts in our industry. We have educational seminars for both owners and managers as well as a legal review session for updates on the current laws. There were also be vendors and suppliers doing business in your region ready to discuss your every need.

You must have your state or SSA member's ORG ID and each registrant must have a unique e-mail to register as well as be a current member. Renew online or email info@selfstorage to get your member ID.

ALL Attendees and Exhibitors must register through this website to attend the conference and access the exhibit hall. Members are able to register other members from their company BUT they must have a membership profile. Registrations must be for the person attending the event. If you need your username and password, use the forgot password button or contact us page. To add additional employees to your membership please click HERE.

EVENT POLICIES

Non-Exhibiting / Non-Sponsoring Vendor Policy

Any Vendor that wishes to attend the trade show, education sessions, networking events, or any portion of any SSA state event without being a contracted Exhibitor or Sponsor must register and pay the Non-Exhibiting / Non-Sponsoring Vendor fee. This fee is non-negotiable, non-refundable after payment, and applies regardless of the number of hours or days the individual spends at the event. Even after paying the Non-Exhibiting / Non-Sponsoring Vendor fee, Non-Exhibiting / Non-Sponsoring Vendors may not distribute literature, samples, or promotional items on the show floor or in session rooms; display signage or branding of any kind; and, conduct sales meetings in public areas.  Violation of these rules may result in immediate expulsion without refund and potential exclusion from future events.

Image Consent

Attendee hereby consents to have himself or herself, as well as any products or exhibits, photographed, videotaped, broadcasted, or recorded in any medium for any use whatsoever by the VASSA or its designated official and authorized agency, including without limitation, uses by VASSA authorized or sanctioned media producing broadcasts derived from material gathered at the Virginia Self Storage conference.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

All registrations must include full payment and are non-refundable. The VASSA do not bill for payment or accept partial payments. VASSA will not issue any refunds, even if you are unable to attend the event. Attendees may be substituted for a registrant without an additional charge. VASSA must be notified in writing of any substitutions at least three days prior to the event.

Sharing Contact Information

Sharing Contact Information: By registering for this event, you consent to VASSA sharing your contact information (e.g., attendee name and title, business name, physical and email addresses, and telephone number) with exhibitors, sponsors, and board members. You further consent to receiving communications from exhibitors, sponsors, and board members.

Exhibitor Policies

An email will be sent to your company's representative 7-10 days prior to the event with the pre-attendee list, move in and out times. A post-attendee list will be sent 7-10 days after the event to your company’s primary contact. Event exhibitors are required to set up prior to the event starting, tables are offered on a first come first served basis. Exhibitors that set up prior to the published time will have their materials removed from the room and will be reassigned a space based on availability. Exhibitors are not permitted to pack up their event space until the meeting concludes. Repeat offenders may be docked national ranking points or unable to exhibit at future SSA managed events. Anti-Trust Statement

It is the unqualified policy of the Virginia Self Storage Association’s to conduct its operations in strict compliance with the antitrust laws of the United States. The antitrust policy prohibits any discussions which may constitute or imply an agreement or understanding concerning:

1. prices, discounts, or terms or conditions of sale;

2. profits or profit margins or cost data;

3. market shares, sales territories or markets;

4. allocation of customers or territories;

5. selection, rejection or termination of customers or suppliers;

6. restricting the territory or markets in which a company may resell products;

7. restricting the customers to whom a company may sell; or

8. any matter which is inconsistent with the proposition that each owner, operator, manufacturer, wholesaler, and distributor must exercise its independent business judgment in pricing its services or products, dealing with its customers and suppliers and choosing markets in which it will conduct business.
